Junior psychology major Christine Byington has quit both the Johnsonian and Winthrop University after her controversial column caused uproar. She handed in her ID card Tuesday.

Hopefully, Christine Byington will take some of her time off to read some history. Someone so ignorant that she thinks the major civil rights laws passed in the 1950s is desperately in need of instruction.
